It cannot be learnt simply through reading the books

I was aware of Nancy’s work and the TE – inspired by reading her books and was applying the ‘idea’ of trying to remove assumptions in my own work.  I was not expecting to find the experiencing of it myself (i.e. being a thinker) quite so profoundly different to other coaching experiences. It cannot be learnt simply through reading the books. The initial 2 days were a very special personal development experience for me (and I’ve been on a lot of courses!). I believe the TE achieves what so many other coaching approaches aim for, but fall short of – which is empowering thinkers to think for themselves.
