Is your unwillingness to feel affecting your ability to think?

“Thinking stops when we are upset. But if we express feelings just enough, thinking re-starts. Unfortunately, we have this backwards in our society. We think that when feelings start, thinking stops. When we assume this, we interfere with exactly the process that helps a person to think clearly again”.
— Nancy Kline

  • Why we can’t think well if we don’t allow ourselves to embrace and allow our feelings.

  • How our thinking can help us cultivate more positive states of mind so we can think more clearly about challenging things

  • How to cultivate a more nuanced vocabulary to use when someone asks you ‘how are you feeling?’

  • The relationship between the components of Attention, Appreciation and feelings

  • How we can best communicate how we are feeling so other people can hear our words not just our emotion

  • 2 simple yet powerful techniques to help us build an intelligent relationship with our feelings so we know when to act on them and when not to

This workshop will encourage you to think afresh about how you relate to your feelings and how you can begin to harness them so you can think with more clarity and ease.
